THE BRIEF
Multi-Stage Project – An Australian technology solutions provider required technical integration and deployment services for the implementation of a large defence project.
Defence Environments – An understanding of defence secure environments would be required, including in-depth knowledge and identification of security standards and associated physical work requirements.
Range of Services – The project would require a multidisciplinary project services team, capable of handling large scale projects under strict time and security constraints.
OUR SERVICES
Hart Automation provided on-site warehousing and logistics, stock management and customer asset registration.
Installation was performed across a varying schedule, dictated by changing security requirements as the construction and handover of the facilities progressed. This process included testing, commissioning, device configuration, customer witness testing, handover, and several variations.
The Hart team worked in all secure environments from Restricted to Top-Secret, with each environment imposing specific security, installation, and inspection procedures.
The team worked closely with seven managing departments during the deployment process, including four ADF squadrons, the principal contractor, the principal technology representative, and our client.
Hart Automation designed, fabricated, and installed custom mounting solutions to overcome specific challenges which were not foreseen by the original design team.
Hart’s site management team played a crucial role in relaying customer and project information to our client located in Canberra, with all phone communication and photography restricted.
